TLS Dinner-Dance a Success

TLS Veterans benefit dinner-dance wouldn’t have been a success without the scores who attended, took part in a raffle, sponsored a table, made a donation for the silent auction table or otherwise made a contribution toward the evening’s success.

The benefit was held Oct. 8 at Crystal Lake Country Club. Proceeds will benefit TLS’ programs that reach out to homeless and disabled veterans.

The event had many highlights. Among them: Pat Green, a TLS board member from 2007 to 2011, was recognized for his dedication to helping veterans and their families. Pat Rowe Kerr, nationally recognized for tirelessly advocating on veterans’ behalf, talked about her experiences.
